Join us in reading this exciting blog, in which our Chef Katriel Menendez tells us about his trip to Mexico. Who doesn't like this country? If it's not for the food, it's for the scenery, or because it sounds like a "vacation", right?

Getting to know other cultures, and especially other gastronomic cultures, is our favorite sport. That's why in this blog Katriel gives us an interview in which he tells us about the culture of a particular country: "Puerto Rico".

In 2017, we made our way to Thailand with Devyn. I chose this destination because I knew the Thais had a unique way of cooking, and of course I wanted to meet them and experience it first hand.

Visiting the old continent was a trip that I had promised to do since I was 15 years old. The place I was most interested in was France, because I was in love with its gastronomy.

After a year of working in Dubai, Katriel returned to the United States. He started looking for a job, and found, thanks to his resume, a chef who needed help opening a restaurant called "Salt Cellar".

He left again for the United States, where a new and exciting proposal was waiting for him. A call that surprised him completely.

In 2012 Katriel, just 22 years old, moved to the Dominican Republic for a work contract. It was a project in which they would open a restaurant and he would be the restaurant's chef.

Only Studying was never an option. One day Katriel was looking in the newspaper and found a very good job opportunity.

All started when he was 8 years old, on his trip to his grandmother's house in Córdoba. During this vacation, they enjoyed cooking together pasta and tuco.
