My Experiences in Dubai: Discovering a World of Inspiration
In this blog I want to share with you my experiences in Dubai. I was in this city working at the Burj Khalifa for a year. I invite you to read how I got the job on this blog: Katriel's Life Steps Part 4.
This place left a deep mark on my vision and approach as an entrepreneur. From Ferrari World to the Burj Khalifa, every moment in this unique city spoke to me about the ideas of those who transformed it and left me with a deep reflection.
Ferrari World: A Passion in Motion
Ferrari World is located in Dubai, Abu Dhabi. For me as a car lover, touring it was a dream come true. It is like a museum and an amusement park at the same time. Every corner of the park exuded the essence and legacy of the iconic brand. From the vehicles, fabrics and engines displayed as true works of art to the world's fastest roller coaster: "Formula Rossa". This one reaches a speed of 240 kilometers per hour and has a length of 2.2 kilometers. It is simply crazy.
Knowing the history of each Ferrari and seeing them all increased my desire to someday fulfill my dream of owning a Ferrari. The one I liked the most is the F8 Spider and I want to own it. This experience was a source of inspiration to work day by day to fulfill this and all the dreams that lie ahead of me.
7 Star Hotel: An Encounter with Luxury
My experience visiting the Burj Al Arab, a 7-star hotel, was a journey into a world of luxury and opulence. It is located on the sea built on its own artificial island, on Jumeirah Beach, and is shaped like a ship's sail. Everything surprises you, at the entrance there were 3 Rolls-Royce, which are cabs and the height of the building and its doors are very imposing. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a glass of Drink and was treated with great elegance and sophistication. There is a huge staircase with flowers in the middle and everything around it is gold. I took an elevator that took me to the Sky Bar where there is also a heliport for those arriving by helicopter. The panoramic view of the sea is spectacular. I had a drink there and then went to the first floor bar which is made of hookahs, the bar has golden columns, water fountains and a glass dome that illuminates the space. This visit reminded me that excellence and dedication in every detail are essential to create a lasting impact.
Burj Khalifa: Rising to Inspiration
The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, it has a total of 163 floors, of which 154 are habitable and 9 are for maintenance. It has 900 luxury apartments, which occupy from the 19th to the 108th floor, where very important people like Will Smith live. Then it has 37 floors of offices, which occupy from the 111th to the 154th floor. It has a five-star hotel, which is the Armani Hotel. The hotel occupies the first eight floors and the 38th and 39th floors of the building. And I had the chance to work in the highest restaurant in the world here, in the Burj Khalifa. It was a unique opportunity that made me grow a lot. This iconic building not only defies architectural boundaries, but also symbolizes Dubai's vision for the future. Investing in tourism and sustainable development showed me the importance of thinking long-term and creating projects with a lasting impact.
From Dubai to the World: Creating a Legacy
Dubai not only offered me a world of luxury and architectural wonders, but it also gave me a valuable lesson: that our dreams have the power to shape our future. Seeing the bold and ambitious vision of this city, I was inspired to create brands that reflect my passions that are my current projects: Nativo Spices, Tango Pastry, Argentine Chef and Argentine Feast. These projects are not only a reflection of my love for cooking, but also an attempt to leave a historical footprint.
I am convinced that each of us can make a difference and build a better tomorrow through action and determination. Just as Dubai propelled me forward, I hope my story inspires others to pursue their dreams and leave their own mark on history.
