History of Argentine Feast

History of Argentine Feast

Argentine Feast was born from the vision of creating a great Argentine “peña” in the United States, where guests enjoy a day of traditional food, drinks, dancing, and more. Chef Katriel had not experienced anything like this during his time in the United States, and wanted to offer the American public a great Argentine party.

Thank you to a new partnership with a local farm called Boondoggie Farm, the dream of the Argentine Feast started to transform into reality. In preparation for the event, Chef Katriel made his own grill from scratch to ensure an authentic menu. He began reaching out to musicians and dancers of tango, folklore, chamamé, and other traditional Argentine music to secure the best possible performers for the event. Behind this event, from the musicians to the food and beverage, there is a great dedication and love for sharing Argentine customs and traditions.

In October 2020, we held the first Argentine Feast, and welcomed approximately 50 guests, all fans of Argentine cuisine and culture. Since 2020, the Argentine Feast has continued to expand and improve, as we host this event twice a year. Chef Katriel develops unique menus for each Feast, as well as different entertainment for each event to ensure that attendees have a distinct experience at each event. Each event seems to have a life of its own and is unique in its own way, making it fun for guests of all ages.

The Argentine Feast is the perfect occasion to discover Argentina from the multiplicity of its musical and culinary manifestations. The best of all is the response of the guests, all of whom enjoy an impressive, enjoyable, and unique experience.
